Ava & Viv Summer 2023

I had seen a few of my favorite IG people trying on the Ava & Viv denim shorts so I decided I needed to as well. And man was I pleasantly surprised at all the great items Ava & Viv have out currently.

The lighter wash are a 7in Bermuda Short. The have a fringed edge. The Black Fringed Edge & Dark Wash Cuffed shorts are 4 in high waisted. I am wearing them all in a size 24. They easily zip & button with minimal gapping at the waist yet the legs seem roomy. I bought the black & dark wash. I wore the dark wash on several errands today and they did not ride up the thighs!!

So I eyed these High Rise Denim Overalls yesterday and thought there was no way these would fit. (Jeans at Target and my thighs haven’t been friends) But today when I saw the second Target had a size 26, I decided why not try at least. They are so adorable. Both sides have buttons so they were really easy to get on and the length was surprisingly perfect. Part of me is tempted to go back and get them.

So I showed a preview of this print as just shorts on my IG and everyone hated it. 😅 But when I saw it in this Tie Waist Romper I had to try it on. And I LOVE it. It’s so cute and girly and vintage-y feeling. I feel it would be perfect for a summer date night or drinks out with the girls. It also has pockets! I’m wearing a 2x.

This Blue Convertible Strapped Jumpsuit is even more gorgeous in person. The blue is just stunning. It’s also the softest knit but has touching on the chest and pockets. The legs are super wide and flowy all the way down so I think they would be great for larger lippy legs. I’m wearing a 2x and it goes up to a 4x. I got it to wear to an upcoming comedy show.

I tried on but did not get the Teal Wide Leg Jumpsuit as I didn’t like how the top fit as much as I do on the blue. The teal does offer more cover on top if that’s your style. Both jumpsuits are available in black as well.

I also tried on but passed on this Orange Knit Wrap Skirt and High-Rise Wide Leg Black Pants. The skirt was tempting but I dont have enough tops that I’d pair it with to make it worth while and I knew I’d pick the romper or denim shorts over it when picking an outfit. I have too many black pants as it is but I wanted to try them on to see how truly wide legged they were.
